Duo of Penthouses Atop Seattle’s New Waterfront Condo Tower to Hit the Market

Two top-floor penthouses at The Emerald, a new development in downtown Seattle, are coming onto the market for just under $11 million each later this week, Mansion Global has exclusively learned.
The building, named after both its jewel-design and the city’s nickname, features 262 residences, including 22 homes from the 34th to 38th floors that are grouped as the penthouse collection.
The two top-floor penthouses will be named Trillion and Marquise, in reference to floor plans that resemble the eponymous gem cuts. Both offer four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms with views of the Pacific Ocean and Seattle skyline.

The smaller of the two, the Trillion, with a triangular shape comprised of three equal sides and up to 50 facets, has 3,587 square feet and includes views of the Space Needle and the Olympic Mountains. It will be listed for $10.9 million.

The Marquise, featuring 58 facets and an elliptical shape with pointed ends, has 3,948 square feet of living space and will be asking $10.5 million, according to Josh Nasvik, managing director of Polaris Pacific, The Emerald’s sales and marketing firm.
“The penthouses offer quintessential Seattle views. It’s certainly a draw to people who want to identify with that,” he said.
Plus, the homes are conveniently located one block away from the Pike Place Market and the Puget Sound, an inlet of the Pacific Ocean, Mr. Nasvik added.

Hosting the headquarters of Microsoft and Amazon, as well as large campuses belonging to Google, Facebook and Dropbox, among others, Seattle has seen a substantial echelon of luxury apartment buyers, said Julia Nagele, design director of Hewitt Architects, The Emerald’s architect.
“Designed as the pinnacle of the iconic faceted-glass exterior building, The Emerald’s penthouse collection includes some of the most exclusive private residences in all of Seattle,” she said.
Both penthouses feature over 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, wide-plank European white oak hardwood flooring, hand-selected natural stone slab countertops, custom wood cabinetry, Miele appliances and smart home technology.
Building amenities include a full-floor rooftop club room with indoor and outdoor lounges and firepits, as well as a fitness center and pet spa on the third floor.
The building, developed by Daniels Create World Seattle, is slated for completion in the summer of 2020.
